Weedolly
We are with AAMI, have been really good the last 5 years. Had two claims all sorted very easily, one when our house got broken into and our spare car key got taken so had to get locks changed on car, and once when someone pulled out the side of the road and hit our car, he was with AAMI as well so it was all sorted out in a phone call. No forms to fill in just had to take car to their repair centre.
abc
Allianz are great, RAC expensive I have found, get good discounts if you can bundle car/house etc together.
Admin
Another vote for AAMI, have insured numerous cars with them over the last few years and, in our case, have always come back the cheapest. No problem with them on the 1 occasion I've had to claim either. Both sons (aged 17 & 20) both with AAMI as well.
Nikkis2000
We've got both cars and the contents with AAMI

Do we need to add that one to the "Arrgggghhhh After the Tennis" Thread?

Insurance is a lottery!!!! Dont even look at the so called specialist insurers for motorbikes like Shannons, total rip off!
abc
Yeah I know! I didn't need insurance for bike but youi said I would get a bigger discount insuring 2 or more vehicles, however the quote came In double what I currently pay with Swann for by bike! Shannon's are a joke!!!!!

Lou8670
Thanks all...interesting we also had a comparative quote from our International bank. We'll certainly get some comparative quotes from the companies mentioned.
Lou8670
Just out of interest can you carry your uk no claims over to oz? Most of the insurances quote you online and you declare wether you've had any claims...
