Devonscot
Hello everyone ! I am new to the forum and have found it very informative so far. I am a nurse with just under 3 years experience . I have been offered a job with PR and I am not sure what do. I would really appreciate any advice on the following :- Can I apply to ANMAC with under 3 years experience for a 186 non points visa,? can I use a code for registered nurse ? My experience is endoscopy and comes under the medical directorate ,my new job offer is for a registered nurse. I then plan to apply for my visa when I have my 3 years experience in a couple of months. I am thinking of getting an agent as I am worried about getting it all wrong . any advise would be gratefully received. Thanks in advance
Hopeful
Hi Devonscot I have just got my 186 granted. I too am a nurse by registration but have a managerial job offer. Give ANMAC a call/ email and ask if they can advise, they were extremely helpful with me, we didn't have an agent and before I was offered the job I started my ANMAC application. I completed it and have a positive assessment but then had to go on and have a VETASSESS assessment also as ANSCO code was different. I emailed many times and they always responded and were very helpful. good luck and congrats on the job offer!

ali
Congratulations on your job offer - when you said you've been offered the job with PR - do you mean the organisation will be sponsoring you or that the offer is if you get PR. You need to check with the organisation how long the job offer is available for and get that in writing so it's not later withdrawn.
