How to stop reading PerthPoms and being jealous of everyone already living the dream

Was that any particular branch of Dome, Rob? Or just Dome in general ;0)

Seriously Steven, Poms addiction is quite common. You are not alone and rather than think of this forum as the problem, think of it as the cure "My name is Nikkis2000 and I'm a pomoholic"!!

It's a safe place to air all your concerns and worries and know that the people who are already here are just as nuts as you!!

Welcome aboard!

It's okay, when you land here there are three immigration channels; Australian Nationals, Non-Australian Nationals and Perth Poms.

It's a kind of fast tracking system that the site owners were able to negotiate with the WA Gov and which speeds you through depending on how valuable and entertaining your contribution to PP has been.

If you hit 1000 posts before you arrive you also get a free foot massage and a cup of decent coffee just so you know what one tastes like before Rob drags you into his dome.

A word of warning though, steer clear of that PiO. Too much of that and your passport can be red tagged and that means a dark room and some latex glove treatment before they let you through.

So does that mean if I hit 1000 posts I get a free foot massage and a cup of free coffee from Rob in Dome? Better speed up :biglaugh:, Rob, how far away is your Dome from opening & have you employed any cute Thai masseurs yet? , need to judge my current reply rate with your opening date , or is this offer only open to newbies , like the banks & mobile phone contracts, new customers only!

Already tasted the dome, on multiple occasions. In fact been there in 2011, 2012 and 2013 Even the little 1 concurs that its a good cafe/restaurant.

Not sure I'll make it there this time 2014 as deciding to emigrate costs a little bit of cash. but I'll defo be there 2015 probably once a month ha ha.

Getting a foot massage aswell.

Nope, I'm pretty sure it was at Hillarys.

But we did visit a good couple across the city.

Now being the Dome aficionado as I am I can confirm that in my expert opinion the cafe in the photo is actually Mullaloo and not Hillarys Marina. Lol.

Complimentary coffee for PP members is not a problem however I'll pass on providing free foot massages.

Apologies to the OP & Porty for this seemingly turning into another Dome thread, again, anyhow here's a piccy of me at Scarborough this week.... It's simply my attempt at trying to turn the person off Perth Poms, just a little.... Lol

How long was the induction to use that rather large complicated looking coffee machine :biglaugh:

It takes a couple of weeks to be able to produce 'decent' looking & tasting coffees but an awful lot longer to operate it under pressure when the orders really start building up.
