True blue1
Hi, Is it worth bringing your TV over? Are they compatible and do they work? Many thanks.
KazG
We brought ours and have had no problems and they're not even expensive ones.
portlaunay
Ours did, a Loewe and a Samsung. I know some have had problems but I'm sorry, I don't know why or whether anything can be done. Perhaps let us know the make and model and someone might have experience of them?
sunshine
Hi, If you subscribe and hook the TV up to a package like Foxtel, iiNet etc (like we did later) you'll get all the channels. However without a package (like when we just landed) our TV did not pick up any channels, even the terrestrial ones like ABC news channels etc which I'm told is transmitted via a different frequency to that in the UK. Our TV that we brought along is the Philips Ambilight. Hope that helps.
alant
I have a Sony Bravia TV and set the region to Germany and I got all the 'council' TV channels through the aerial!
Druid
I bought a Humax digi box and got all the free to air digital channels, & got Foxtel works no probs, but it wouldn't tune so it won't work without the extra boxes.
