MrsM
Is DONE!!! So have everything I need to send off our partner visa! Woooooooo! Its taken me so long to get it all together & get my husbands citizenship by descent done. So I'm excited and nervous!! Lets hope it goes smoothly... Our paperwork seems very straight forward. Just medicals to sort after the visa is lodged! Sorry for the pointless thread.... Just excited!
ali
Whooo Hoooo ... not pointless at all, where better to share your achievements, we'll all have been or are going through a similar process and every little hurdle passed is a step nearer the finish line. xx
portlaunay
Nice one, well done. As ali says, not pointless, thanks for sharing, it's good to see how people are progressing.
BC&AT
Good work! It took us 6 months to get everything sorted with the paperwork, so I know how relieved you feel to begin the process.Just sit back and wait now. I've just had my partner visa granted after 8 months and 9 days. I had my moments of weakness and jealousy when visas were granted before mine! (Especially past the 8 month mark) but it will happen, you just need to forget about it for a while. Good luck with everything.

Can I ask, did your partner need to get the medical also? Or just the people on the partner visa? Just wondering so I can have the money aside and ready! Lol. Lets hope its plain sailing now... I'm trying to second guess when our date will be if we get the all clear for the visa. Worked it out to be before 24th of April 2015 as thats the year mark for our police checks. So I have the 20th of April in my head! SCARY!!! Lol

I'm sure everything will be plain sailing, you won't have much correspondence from your CO but don't worry that's normal. I found the last two months before the grant were the hardest, I put it out of my mind for 6 months, but at the end I couldn't stop checking my email! good luck
