rickandange
Well I've put up with 3 weeks of commuting from Baldivis to Trigg and I can't bloody take it anymore !!!! We've secured a lovely little rental in Dianella and we move in just over two weeks, so I'm wondering if anyone can advise on places to look out for in the area? I've driven by Coventry Village which looks interesting, and I'm know we're near Yokine reserve and relatively close to Mt Lawley for eating and drinking out, but is there anything else we need to check out?? Ta in advance!
Bibbs
Beauford St for eating, Morley is the closest major shopping centre (Myer, Woolies, Coles). Ossie Park is there for bigger stuff (Ikea, Harvey Norman) Morley Drive and Karrinyup Road can get busy at the main junctions during rush hour. rickandange
Thanks for that Bibbs. Just found out that one of my colleagues lives there, and with traffic it takes around 25 mins to our work which is great. That'll mean my overall commute will be 2 hours less each day! Can't wait! Scot01
There are many areas of Perth that are popular with different nationalities- eg Brits in Butler and Secret Harbour, Italians Freo, Greeks Balcatta. Dianella is the home of South Africans/ Jewish. It has the Jewish school and synagogue. It's a nice area, just don't be surprised by the South African accents. NP, it's kinda my area (I'm a bit closer to the train line), but drive through the area often. The junction with Wannaroo road was busiest last night (about 5/6pm).
