cocolevi
I've just read on pio that WA are evaluating a range of occupations on their sponsored occupations list and have marked a lot of jobs unavalible until this review has been finalised, does that mean that these jobs will be taken off , bit of a worry for us if it does OH job is on there Toni x
gar374
I think they added new jobs at 1st July, nothing came off though. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon but my skills assessment is in.
verystormy
A lot of occupations are currently frozen. However, this is normal this time of year while the state reviews if any should come off or go on.
gar374
I wasn't aware of this - off to write a panicky email to my visa agent that I've already paid for! AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!! Gareth
nikkiwd
I just had a look at the list on http://www.migration.wa.gov.au and so many occupations are listed as unavailable, I doubt they will remove them all. It does mean no more invitations for 190 or 489 visas will be issued for those occupations until after the review and who knows when that will be. Gar374 are you going for the 190 state sponsored or the 189 independant visa?
cocolevi
Thanks guys I'll try not to worry then x
gar374
ok, so just had an email back. The state sponsored list is the one thats been frozen, so I'm not affected as we're going for a 189.
