<Dan>
I am looking at a hire car for the first week until we can buy a car as I suspect the one we want to buy on here will be sold by November It asked 'Country of residence' Well, at the moment, its the UK but it will be Australia which is cheaper. What to do? I think its 'at the time of booking' but, its cheaper if we are in Australia.
flatpack
Google "no birds", in fact I'll do it for you https://www.bayswatercarrental.com.au/ Cheap as chips for new cars, cannot be bettered if you ask me. I've hired cars from them on 3 different trips.

<Dan>
Ive been trying to figure out what car to get. Anyone know how big the Holden Captiva is. 5 People and all the luggage! Otherwise a commodore I think will have to do but it was a squeeze last time. Do bays water do from the airport though?
flatpack
Bayswater is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport!
<Dan>
Thanks all, Bayswater booked. And was surprised how much cheaper they actually were especially with the damage waiver.

The Holden Captiva is a re branded Opel Antara or Daewoo Windstorm, it's a SUV cross sort of car, seeing them on the road they look bigger than a Holden Commodore sedan, Bayswater don't do cars at the airport, the office is about a ten minute drive providing no traffic, and that depends what time you arrive. They only hire Toyotas but we hired a Rav4 and got all our luggage in with a squeeze and there are 5 of us. The Holden Captiva is about the same size and has a big boot as it's 4x4 style. Yeah we've hired the Rav4 in the end. Very reasonable price although not too keen on Rav4's being in the motortrade but its only for 9 days.
