odies
thought i would give you all what i did while in Oz. First I noticed how the airport is getting bigger and construction work going on everywhere.I landed with 2 other flights coming in and it seemed chaos which was good as I used the E passport and no queue then just passed through customs with a smile !!! never happened before like that. Son travelled business so chauffeur driven car took us home. The weather was so cold I slept with heater on all night, socks on and water bottle. In the day if a little bit of sun came through was ok , always wore my quilted waistcoat when going out. Then the weather started to ease a little and 1 wednesday it was like the middle of summer took an ocean path walk from Mindarie to Quinns and sat looking at the ocean eating lunch. Had 5 childrens birthday parties to attend during the stay so caught up with loads of family and friends.Thought I would use Lay by to get one of the grandkids presents for christmas , totally sold out in nearly all local Targets but found one in Stirling, word of warning DO NOT SHOP THERE,it was the worst nightmare ever, the shopping centre stunk the people were real down and outs. Did get what i needed and then made a dash. Went to the animal farm , it is so poor against the uk but still my youngest enjoyed himself. Shopped mainly in Joondalup this shopping centre is growing so quick when finished going to be the largest in WA , just in time for my arrival, hope to see more shops next time.Went to Karrenup shops which we usually love as it has some better shops and posher people but seemed bland and empty now. Met up with the Dome king Rob T and his lovely wife and family at the Indy one night which was great, plus it was the Indys 8th birthday so they had a singer on and a roaming magician which we enjoyed. The last week was full of being poorly but managed to meet friends at The Boat for lunch. The sunsets were beautiful some days,The silly poles on approaching Joondalup area i found funny, the visits to areas where i will shop I enjoyed, The tv was awful, stuck with watching cricket as nothing on, but still looking forward to living there.
