Elspeth
Hi all We have just returned from a 3 week stay in Perth visiting family, we loved it and are now looking to do the move. Can anyone recommend a good agent that they have used or are using. Many thanks :smile2:
Shaw86
We have been using Mick Breen of Destination Oz. He is very good and his rates are competitive. You pay less with destination oz as you do some of the leg work yourself under the guidance of Mick but for me it was worth it as I am an electrician so I had to do the Vetassess paperwork myself anyway and Mick was very helpful with the paperwork. gar374
Hi, We're using Visa Bureau and have been really impressed with them. We asked shed loads of questions before we even visited Aus, and were getting sometimes three emails a day back from them answering stuff for us. I went away and did my IELTS and got 10 points to be told, you really need 20 from it to take your total to 70. All this before we paid them anything. We eventually did sign the contract with them and they've continued to be excellent. Happy to recommend them. Regarding costs - have a look at my signature. The Visa Bureau fee is split into two, so you pay the first half, get skills assessment done and then before they lodge your Expression of interest you pay the second and final payment. They triple check everything with other mara registered agents within the company and have expertise in a variety of areas so will be able to answer anything. I did approach Go Matilda, but the chap that replied to my online enquiry seemed...less thorough in reading my emails! We also approached someone whilst in Perth and he wanted a fee just to see me. Hope that helps. Good luck Gareth

j19jjr
We are using Go Matilda at the moment. still in the very early stages (just had our state sponsorship approved) but would recommend based on the fantastic communication we have with Alan Collett. Very patient, very methodical, very understanding and reassuring!! Won't comment on fees as we are going for a Business Visa which I believe is more costly than the normal skilled ones.
