SaffanZimbo
My one in a million MIL flies back to South Africa this evening after nearly 9 weeks being with us. An amazing women who has made my life for the past few weeks much less stressful. I come home to a home-cooked meal, spotless house, laundry done and calm children who have done their homework AND then tidied away their toys! I am really going to miss her and wish she could stay until our container goes on 23rd but appreciate that she wants to get home to her husband! I've spoken to her about moving to Oz but not sure they would qualify as my husband's half-brother still holds SA citizenship although he has lived in South Korea for 2 years... Will need to look into the visa situation once settled in Oz.

Where theres a will theres a way, there is a huge Saffa population over here, they all found a way out, Saffas get to keep there citizenship anyway, unless they agree to relinquish it, which most don't, I think the way the Aussies work is all the kids have to be here before they will consider a visa, you need to speak to a migration agent when you get here
