Vijay Kumar P
First thing you need to check if your or your wife's occupation has been listed in CSOL, then you need to submit EOI, if its approved further steps like taking IELTS, documents submission etc.
nikkiwd
First step is find out if you are eligible for a visa on immi.gov.au. Next find out is you meet the points test (60). If you are eligible then first step is the skills assessment, IELTS if required for points, once these are passes then you can lodge your EOI and wait for an invite to apply for the visa. If you are unsure then maybe contact an agent for a chat.

wild rose
Yes, Nikkiwd is right. After checking to see if either occupation is on the SOL or CSOL you need to see if you meet the points test for a skilled migration visa. It's often advisable at some point her the beginning of the process to get some advice from a migration agent (even if it's just free initial advice to make sure you haven't missed anything vital!), Go Matilda were pretty good in my opinion. The first step to the process is to obtain a skill assessment and IELTS (if required for extra points) before lodged an Expression of Interest. Invitation Rounds are then held twice a month inviting people ranked with the most points to apply for a visa (at the moment people with the minimum 60 points are generally being invited pretty quickly). Then you'd lodge your visa application, undertake medicals, apply for police clearance certificates and upload all evidence in support of your application before waiting for the final decision. Easy peasy lol There is a lot to take in. I found it easier in the beginning once I had a good overview of the process to break it down into the various parts and spend time researching each of those. When I thought I'd got it all I phoned a couple of Migration Agents for free advice to make sure I had understood everything correctly. If you're not confident or don't want to put in the effort you could pay for a migration agent to guide you through the entire process (or certain parts). It can be expensive but some people think it's worth it as it takes a lot of the stress away. I decided to do it myself though and providing you're methodically and on the ball it's not too difficult. Good luck x
