Nicos7
Morning! Can anybody tell me how the appointment pools for teaching work? Do schools not shortlist and interview until they actually have a vacancy or do they interview first and have a list of people they can quickly employ should a vacacy arise? Thanks. From what I gather, some schools don't even interview they just select certain people to be in the pool! Then use them if vacancies come up. I have applied for lots. Some requested references, some just said no. I had an interview for one and got in! But they couldn't really say for sure that I would be needed, although, they emptied their pool last year! it is quite a strange way to do it but I guess it says time when a job comes up. are u in perth already? What do you teach? I'm a primary teacher emma
