ali
If you travelled back and met yourself at a younger age ... what advice would you give? I think mine would be to tell myself "you'll make mistakes but you'll learn from every one, you'll look back and feel that they all happened for a reason in order for you to be where you will be. You will feel happy, blessed and content - remember that when the going gets tough" What about you? Edited September 19, 2014 by ali
verystormy
Go with ICI (I had an offer for an apprentership with them when I was a kid but joined the army instead).
elfie
I would tell myself ..... Enjoy every experience good or bad grab every opportunity that comes your way. I would have joined the police force and not been put off by the teasing of being called Angie Dickinson !! We were a lot younger at 17 in the 80,s than today. Give me a break!
Do not wait until you are in your 40's to move to Australia, go while the girls are young then have your son when you get there! Easier on them and easier on you emotionally & financially
elaineh33
I'd say "don't be so hard on yourself you're doing the best you can"

ROB T
Be more respectful to your parents; you'll never know when you may need them to babysit the grandchildren... Lol
Akasully2
That you are much more attractive than you think. You have youth and that is attractive in itself. Stop thinking you're fat. I use this thinking strategy now and tell myself that when I am 80 I will think I looked lovely when I was in my 40's and never realised it. I was still a young woman. nikkiwd
I would say to myself when I was 17 'don't go into hospitality, there are easier ways to make a buck and your back will thank you for it'

Akasully2
That choosing a man is like shoe shopping. Don't rush into buying the first pair you see. There may be a better pair out there, keep your options open. You have to try a lot on before deciding exactly which pair is perfect for you. How on earth can you know which is right unless you have plenty to compare them to? Also, many will give you blisters and will never feel comfortable even though they look great. They're not worth it, just dump them and move on.
