School fees depending on visa?

I am confused, I am going to blame google!

As I understand it, depending on the visa type, one might be liable to school fees

Does anyone have a cheat sheet on this, i.e. visa type versus typical fees, as a quick guide?

457 Visa holders pay $4000 per family. Originally it was to be $4000 per child, but this has been changed.

There will also be some fees to pay at public schools, in addition to books and materials. At High School some courses attract contributions also
