Guest Guest6235
As well as hearing some of the moans & groans on here it would be good to hear what has kept the ex pats in Perth for longer than 5 /10 years or to the ex pats who have arrived in the last 12 months & the things that might make them stay. I've mentioned before my parents friends emigrated to Rockingham in the 70's and have stayed out there, someone I know moved to Yanchep last May (2013) and he's said he couldn't imagine living back in England. So what has made you stay? Edited October 18, 2014 by Guest6235
Akasully2
Beautiful beaches, like the UK used to be in some ways in regard to population, optimism, friendliness, space, deep blue skies, healthy outdoorsy lifestyle particularly for kids, laid back, most shops (even the huge supermarkets) shutting at 5pm on a Saturday as they know the staff have lives outside work, family time. Akasully2
Just noticed the 'thank' count under my avatar. One, how do I know who thanked me for what? Two, how do I thank someone? still prefer the like button.
Guest Guest6235
I still have the like option on tapatalk for android but on on PC I noticed the thank and wondered the same regarding who thanked and for what.

ali
For us, it's just that we like living here - nothing in particular - just an all over feeling of contentment.
Stefan
Where/what is this UK you speak of? We've only been here just under 5 months and never want to go back! Stef
BondiHammer
Beaches, lifestyle, quality of life for sure! Even get to watch West Ham out here as much as I like without the stresses and strains. Beats the daily grind of London. Having lived in 3-4 other locations in Australia, like Stefan, don't want to go back! Darren.
