Coming from the UK you won't notice a buzz like a UK city. If christmas felt like Christmas in perth there wouldn't be Christmas in July ..! odies
hi, there is street I think in connally that everyone visits to see the christmas lights in the gardens, it has a good buzz about it. You will find there is not the same buzz as here in the dark uk, make sure if you see something you want for christmas to get it then, else it will be gone ie christmas trees, lights etc. but you will find a great buzz for Australia Day if you are still there

Guest Guest13452
Oh, yes, actually... Look up where the Christmas streets are! The streets where most residents do up their houses in all sorts of lights and designs. There is one in Harrisdale where Santa's sleigh is pulled by kangaroos! It requires a bit of driving around, but it really is a fun time
ali
Christmas for me is all about the Christmas spirit that our family create - doesn't matter where we are as long as we're together it'll feel like Christmas
JasonM
If I was over at Christmas I would take a trip down to Mandurah and take the Christmas light boat trip. Look on the Web and book in advance. I know it's a bit of a drive but I think it would be well worth it
