Vijay Kumar P
Hello people, I will be coming in first week of July to Perth. Could you please help me in providing the weather information during that time. Is it heavy rainfall season? What clothes should I bring? And during winter also please suggest the same. Will it be extreme cold as it will be in Mel and Syd? Please help. Thanks Vijay
FOL
What do you mean "and during winter also"? July is pretty much winter. winter in perth means that the days are short. Light between... i dunno, 7.30am and 5pm (guestimation). In the morning and evening it gets cold, roughly 5 degrees. As the houses are not isolated properly it can get very cold inside your house as well. During the day it is usually between 15 - 20 degrees. Warm enough for a t-shirt. During winter there can be quite a lot of rainfall, especially during one session. Google for "rainfall perth bom" (bom.gov.au).

verystormy
Coming from India, you will find the days cool to cold. There is also a issue that perth houses are built for summer rather than winter and can feel cold in winter. Night time temps can get down to 3c. It it will be wet. So bring some form of waterproof clothing.
