verystormy
The steps are as follows. Look ok at which if any visa you might qualify for based on if you have an occupation on the SOL or CSOL. Calculate your points. This will determine if you require extra points and how many. Most people find they need ILETS to gain enough. Start the the skills assessment process for your occupation. Assuming you need islets, book ILETS and start revising. Once skills assessment is back and positive and ILETS completed to the level needed - that varies according to how many points you need - lodge an eoi. Wait it to be invited, or if applying for a state sponsored visa such as 190, apply for the state sponsorship. Lodge application. Wait for case officer to request medicals and police checks. Do Meds and police checks and lodge. Wait it for grant.
Pipmcrae
Hi thanks for the reply where would I go to obtain medical Regards
ali
You don't need to do your medical until you are requested to submit. As suggested, your first step is to see which list your occupations are on and do the skills assessment - this can be quite time consuming gathering all the evidence for that. When you have a successful skills assessment - then you can apply for the visa.

Aussiegirl
We are putting ours in next week, as July 1st the fees go up big time, if you go on the immi site and do the visa check it tells you how much, but can't view prices for July and afterwards till they sort out prices, Medicaid will be the closest to you, you can check on there too where the nearest one is to you
