TheMackemSlayer
Hey guys, Just a quick post to find out if any of you have ever flown with Garuda Indonesia and, if so, how you found your flights and the experience as a whole? Only asking as I done a quick search for flights and they're coming up way cheaper than anyone else. I know they had a sketchy reputation once upon a time but they're now a 5 star airline, apparently. Just after opinions really. Thanks in advance, Gary. My younger brother told me they have tried to land on the Tonkin hwy a few times. Not sure how true that was. My elder brother flew to the UK with them. You would really want to like curry. Apparently even breakfast was curry.
TheMackemSlayer
Hahaha. Not sure how true any of that is, to be honest. I already know that they offer European foods for sure. And I can't imagine too many trained pilots attempting to land on a highway. I was more concerned about the aircrafts themselves. £350 more to for four of us to fly with Singapore Airlines, might just do that.

Mainly because Dubai breaks the legs nicely, and they leave from Gatwick, which is convenient for me. They are a good service, and fairly cheap. Weedolly
I havent flown with them but have checked their flights and a lot have very long stop overs in between flights, then your going Perth, Jakarta, Amsterdam, to Uk, I would rather pay the extra and only have two flights with Emirates to be honest. Clo
I haven't flown on Garuda myself, but have some friends that did. They had over wing seats, and saw duct tape on the wing, holding a flap shut. I don't think that would fill anyone with confidence...
