Devonscot
Hello all I am currently applying for my visa and it asks if as the primary applicant I have primary custody of my child to which I answered yes. Then it asks if anyone else has custody of my child which would be my husband. Do I put yes or are they looking for partners who don't live with their children . Terrified of making mistake Any help appreciated
Bouncy
Hi there, I remember having the same stress about that question! I asked others and it seemed half said no and half said yes and added husbands name. I put yes and put my hubby down and as he was on the application also I thought common sense would make this ok!! It was and I got my 189 visa no problem! I think it would only be a prob if parents were split and one not included in visa!! Hope this helps!! shelz
I remember putting yes with my husband's details and used the birth certificate as proof of 'custody', - seems weird if you still one faamily unit to be asking about custody - but i guess it means Parental responsibility.
