shelz
Hello, I'm pleased to say that i have been sucessful to a nursing pool for a community health nurse position and have been asked what area's would be my preferences to work from their HR department. I have 2 sons aged 11 and 7 years old - the older one will be due to start secondary/senior school soon, he is rather academic particularly in Maths and also sporty so the local state schooling would be an important aspect on deciding on areas, I dont mind maybe a 20 minute or so commute from where we end up living to get to work. I have searched real estate, properties/schools and have got a massive list of pro' and con's for different areas. Would be looking for a rental with a pool an think will have a maximum budget of $600 per week, minimum 3 bedrooms. I have narrowed down to the Joondalup-Wanneroo geographical area or Rockingham-Kianna area (which are pretty big geographical areas in themselves). The map i have been provided with includes the various community health centre and child health centre loctions across WA, and there does seem to be many more in the Joondalup/Wanneroo area than Rockingham/Kwianna area - im not sure why... which might mean less travelling in the Joondalup/Wanneroo area to work with there being more centre's to possibly be working from. It is so difficult and I know everyones perspective is different - but can anyone share any thoughs on these areas please - it might help me... Thank in advance... :-) ps. - fingers crossed for 189 visa being granted on 1st July!
verystormy
I would recomend you take some short term accomodation and use the time to visit areas as they can feel very different. For example, we had narrowed down where we wanted to a few small areas. Once we arrived and visited we disliked them all. We ended up somewhere we had never heard of.
