Wazzles
Can anyone give me some information on childcare options for a 3 (almost 4) year old. My son has been in pre-school in the UK since Sept last year and was due to start school but we are moving to Perth in 2 weeks. I want him to continue in something similar for social and educational reasons. What options are there and is there any support financially like in the UK (free 15 hrs)? Thanks Elaine
Weedolly
I think your only option will be either long daycare or family daycare and you have to pay for both. Long daycare is around $100 per day but if you are PR you may qualify for the rebate. you get a place at 4 year old Kindy free, think schools differ but my daughter used to go school hours but 2 days one week and 3 alternate weeks. They have to be 4 by 30th June on the year the are going so you will have missed out on this year so he won't get a place until the start of the school year in February.there may be other options but that is all I know Edited July 14, 2015 by Weedolly
