franka
Hi, My son who is 21 & my nephew who is 28 with a family are wanting to start a new life in Perth..My son & Nephew are going to apply for a holiday/working visa. They are both in the construction industry with UK tickets for driving earth moving Machines, Drainage work, all groundworks, 1: Is Perth the best place for them to find work. 2: Is there cheap places they can live in for the time they are there. 3. This is the "bad point" my nephew has a criminal record from 6 years ago..is that a major problem. Thanks for taking time to read this. verystormy
Well, first, they won't be a "new life". It is what it says. A holiday. There re tickets for earth moving won't mean anything and they would need to do them again here. I would recomend they look on job sites such as seek.com.au to get an idea of jobs available. There re are lots of hostels and places to stay. It may also be possible to get a place in a shared house. Gumtree would be a good place to look. Criminal records can can have an effect. It depends on what it was for and what sentance he received. Be aware. Your nephew can not bring children on a working holiday visa.
