Can anyone help with the 2 questions below? We visited a few years ago and it was an evisa we had for our holidays. We also did not get a label in our passports, only got a stamp. It says I can tick yes and leave it blank? I would probably say yes for the first question and no for the second.

application have a grant number?

applicant have a visa label in passport?

Did anyone put yes if they had only been on holiday visa?

Jenpen - what did you put for have you worked in last 10years? Does this mean if you are coming points for work experience? I am not claiming any points so I am not sure if I need to put anything down. The questions are badly worded. Does anyone know of any good guides for each question?

Place of issue and issuing authority is on the passport.

If if you have held any visa previously, including a holiday visa, you should say yes.

Thanks for the reply. I can put yes then leave the number blank as I do not know it. Should I put no for having sticker in passport? I do not have the sticker like some countries do. I only have a rubber stamp.

Hi Scotty,

I said yes to the visa, but no to the sticker, as like you I only had a rubber stamp. I don't actually remember getting an e-visa as it was ten years ago, but apparently I couldn't have travelled there without one! I put IPS too. I think I put my NHS number from my birth certificate, but it shouldn't matter as long as it matches one of the numbers on the certificate surely?! Yes, the questions are very badly worded indeed - I was questioning my decision to do it myself and not employ an agent at that point! Good luck :)

Last question folks (I hope). 'Where it says has the person worked in the last 10 years?' Well obviously I have worked but I am not claiming any points for work experience as I only got my degree last summer at night school. Can I leave this section blank? It does not feel right to tick NO.
