jamesw
Singleton itself hasn't really grown, but there has been land development in the Golden Bay area as well as Madora Bay. Just across the road, Lakelands has been the most developed place in the area.
elfie
Singleton is a quiet suburb. The Golden Bay development is spoiling it - another tin roof mini city. The older part is nice bigger blocks houses with character. It has a large oval where mostly cricket is played. There is a small shop, bakery and a pizza/cafe - which is good and a school. It a stones throw from the beach. There is a petrol station and a subway at the turn to enter Singleton. There will be a Coles opening on the new Golden Bay development across the road 2016 - but dont quote me on that. Just up the road is Secret Harbour with a small shopping centre doctors school pub cafe etc.
