Oziris
Hi all, I'm Oz and I'm new here. Both in Perth and PerthPoms so first things first... nice to meet you all. As many who come here, I was amazed by the inked people around (I also have a couple of tattoos so the 3rd looks closer than ever). I read the following post (http://www.perthpoms.com/forum/travel/4306-tattoo-shops.html) and wanted to ask the one question no one seems to ask. What's the average hour rate for a highly professional tattooist. Few details about what I'm looking for. Hopefully it'll make it possible for some of you : 1. Polynesian tattoo that start from my shoulder and goes until my elbow. 2. Needs to be super precise, as symmetric as possible, highly creative and of course... very experienced with those kind of tattoos.. I met with Marc Pinto, the owner of Primitive Tattoo (who left a great impression on me), saw his works and tried to Google after him a bit just to find out what others think of his works and rates. So, in order to compare it to the rates I got... Can you please give me an estimation about the average rates here? What do you think about Marc works (the ones who've been under his needle) and if you know or recommend on other tattooist who specialised in those sort of tattoos, shoot! Thanks, Oz
Lancelot1937
I can't think of many things more horrible than having a tattoo. Why anyone should make such a mess of their body takes some believing. I think that to have a tattoo a person must be mentally deranged. In my life some of the most amazing people i have met have tattoos - free thinkers ! And also, they where never to shallow to judge on looks and not personality. However back to thread , i dont think money comes into it - you just go for the artist , as if you go down the money route - youll end up with a crap tat ;o) goodluck and keep enjoying the ink )

Saved me a lot of money with my shrink. Now I know I'm mentally deranged. Thank you! And as for the other opinions... thanks. I know I should not look for a cheap rate (cheap tattoo will look accordingly) but I wonder what's the average rate for a highly professional tattooist and what do you know / think about Marc Pinto. Thanks again,
