Sparky Dean Posted November 16, 2015 Report Share Posted November 16, 2015 Hi, I've booked to move to Perth early Jan 2016 but am under the impression there is not so much electrical work available in and around the CBD at present? I have my A Grade License and work as a Security Technician, any advice is welcome please as have wife & toddler in tow and am now starting to worry I will find it hard to obtain work upon arrival. It is a bit quieter here but there is still work about, recruitment slows down though and December and January are pretty quiet times for jobs. I am moving to Perth myself with wife and kids in Jan. I have done a VETASSESS test etc and had to travel to London for it, that got me a temporary trade licence to work anywhere.
