Guest The.Colebecks
Hi Welcome to Perth Poms We are not in Perth yet so I cannot answer your questions first hand but from the information I have gathered on areas, schools, etc over the years much depends on whether you aim to go south or Perth (referred to as SOR) or north (NOR) of Perth. We are heading south, to Rockingham. Good luck Karen & Co x

Guest carla
Hi Karen we were in perth working for a year back in 2001 we loved it! We lived in Scarborough which was on the beach and a lovely place with shops and an English pub called the Stanford arms. The weather is beautiful apart from the wind ( fremantle doctor) in the afternoons. Rockingham is lovely we visited there a few times. Although all the lovely suburbs I know are now 4 times the price. Carlax
Guest michelle
Hi Tracey, My name is michelle, am married with two small children. We are visiting 'perth' in may for 3weeks to check it out, then on our return hope to fast track everything. I am a nurse, and am getting sponsorsered, which gets you there quicker. Our aim of the visit is to check out suburbs/schools/jobs/transport/accomadation/shops etc... Will keep in you informed. It's so exciting, although my husband is getting stressed out with the amount of paperwork. It will all be worth it. Michelle
