Hi Guys

Soooo stressed at the mo we are doing our 1st move and hopefully the last in Oz. We moved from the UK in Jan 2009 and now we are heading Perth Side.

We have handed in our notices at the work and the kids schools last week so it became very real. We have managed to find tenants for our house book the flights to Perth but no rental for us yet. :arghh: We have decided on Tapping / Carramar area's and the rental market is very tight we have 2 dogs and we are finding that to be an isuue ( but my boys are comming lol)

My house here is upside down we have started to say good bye to friends and I havent booked the Shippers yet yikes!!

In the mist of it all I have a 2nd interview today for a job and I turn 40 on the 24/9 so are having a girlie night out in the city.

Feeling a little outta control at the mo better get back to them lists on list s lol

Have a great day everyone Argh!!!!!!!!

Everything will work out fine in the end, just keep following those lists, I've got lists everywhere at moment, we are in the middle of selling house in UK, moving to Perth in Jan 2012, at least all the paperwork is done for visa and passports, thats one thing off my list, 1000 other things to do.

It will all be worth it in the end, go out for your Birthday and forget about it for 1 night, hope you have a good Birthday and good luck with your interview.

Take care.

Jackie.

Thanks ladies

Im still in a fluster but Im on the lists ha ha. Work today then I had my interview by Skype after work amidst a few dog barks lol.

In a nutshell its the job situation here in Adelaide the Trade side of things is really in a down turn and although Hubby has a job the money isnt fab. we have paid a fortune to get him to a conttractor level and his money has not gone up. So we could put and shut up or do something about it. Intially we were comming to Perth but then switched to Adelaide. We said we will give Adelaide 2 years which we have and now we are doing a really expensive move Perth. Going back to The Uk was never a thought.

Fingers crossed it works out !

I have a friend in Adelaide and her husband is a roofer and he has just got a job, his first one in over a year:swoon: So things really must be difficult there. Hope it all goes smoothly for you and Im sure you will love Perth. I dont know anything about the area you are looking at except to say that I have two friends up that way and they love it. Good luck:wubclub:
