Guest debbie13
In two minds which of these areas we are going to settle in, in January. Can anyone give their experiences of primary and secondary schools in or around tapping and atwell as this wil probably be our deciding factor. Guest Perthroo
Hi I live in Tapping. It's a pretty nice suburb although not very established yet. Depends what your after. Two of my children attend Primary school in Tapping....one goes to Tapping Primary and one goes to Spring Hill Primary. Tapping P.S take children from Years 2-7, Spring Hill take Kindy-year 1. As of 2013 the schools will split and both will take K-year 7 which should be better for most families. Both school are lovely and have a nice community feel. I particularly like the Head at Tapping P.S. I also have a child who is at secondary school, he goes to Ocean Reef Senior High....our feeder school for the Tapping area is Wanneroo High which hasn't got a very good reputation but I haven't got first hand experience with the school so hopefully someone else might be able to tell you more about it!! Hope that helps a bit
moven
Realise this is an old post, but for future reference regarding Atwell. Recently on a reccie visited Atwell senior high, company I will be working for supplied material to the school. Was extremely impressed with the school layout and facilities. Excellant grounds, equipment etc. No idea of the inner culture or teaching standards, but from a facility point of view, second to none.
