Sorry folks, have to have a rant!

 

Bought a 32in cheap tv in Kambo's, Malaga on 7th September and it lost its picture on 20th September. When I took the tv back today they didn't want to give a refund - just replace the tv and a tv stand that I had also bought and which appeared to me to be second hand when I took it out of the box.

 

Anyway, to make a long story short, the store manager was very abusive and threatened to call the police when I telephoned the Australian Consumer Commission for my consumer rights. I was very embarrassed and felt like a criminal, even though they admitted the TV was faulty!

PS I ended up going to Good Guys in Joondalup and Dan (I think) was very kind and I have found them very helpful.

If something is too good to be true, it usually is. I wouldn't buy anything from Kambos if my life depended on it. Always go to one of the big guys, it doesn't guarantee you the best but you stand a better chance of getting things sorted out with a big name IMO.
