Guest carole
Hi All, I'm knew to this so bear with me. My son is 18 and can only go on our 457 visa if he enrols in study. If he doesnt he can apply for a working holiday visa for a year then apply for a 2nd year but what happens after that runs out. Would be grateful if you knew anything to write back. Thanks x
Colbournes
Just going to bump this for you as I was trying to find out info for my teenagers and I know how hard it is to get info. Did you use a migration agent maybe they could answer it for you or if you are on a 457 maybe ask the company you are going to be working for? Good luck with your search Candice
Guest von
Hi, We have a similar dilemma. We are coming on husbands 457 but we have a 20 year old dependent daughter and one year old grandson. Difficult to prove dependency but achievable with time. We've decided to bring her out on a 1 year tourist visa then enrol her in a TAFE after the year, gives her 1 years grace to choose her career pathway and then switch to student visa. Then reasess options.. Something worth considering for you?
