Colbournes Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 Hi all In my desperate attempt to get away with not sorting anything out I'm posting here to see if anyone else is struggling with getting rid of stuff and deciding what is worthwhile to take! We are not taking any furniture that we have decided but its all the bits n bobs that are getting me....I have had to give up work since we moved out of our house and have been left with eBaying all our stuff and it's making me miserable! a) we have so much stuff OMG where the hell did it all come form b) eBay is sooo much hassle at times c) bored with my own company and seem to be eating myself silly to avoid sorting anything out!! Can't wait for the Perth sunshine now......did I mention I'm supposed to be completing case studies for my massage exam but don't seem to be doing that either!! Sorry don't normally moan this much just needed to get it out...ok where's that bottle of wine?!!!!!! Our problem is we both work full time and cannot get to the Post Office to send stuff if we sell it on Ebay (and apart from anything else how do decide what postage is???). Our removals are due in on Wed next week and the house completes on Friday. I think one of our cars is going to be full of stuff to go to car boot!!! My poor parents are going to have so much c**p in their house when we move in. Liking the idea of wine - bit late for tonight but I think tomorrow night is a definite. Cx We're in the same boat guys, also moving beginning dec and can't wait, but also trying to do the booty and ebay thing it's so stressfull. We've almost got everything sold and the guys buying the house have given us the extra time in the house before we fly out, but i do agree alcohol does make it a little easier. lol. Plus our local post office bloody hate us!! We view it as every cubic ft we don't take is £5 saved and junk got rid. 9weeks to go till we sat on a plane heading for the sun.
