Guest SueRich
Hi All, My partner and I have been looking at our visa options and think the 475 (provisional) visa is the best route for us to take, however, we have a 4 year old son and have been told that we would have to pay school fees on a 475. Is this correct? I have tried searching for this on the internet but can't find anything. I found information which says you pay school fees on a 457 visa so i'm wondering if the person who told us this has just got mixed up with the 475 and 457! God knows it's confusing! tomabbie
Hi Have looked into this myself as we are probably going over 457 whilst my permanent visa is being processed. In some states school fees need to be paid but in WA school is free regardless of visa (apart from normal school costs, equipment etc). Hope this helps. Guest 4YearItch
State schools in WA are free on 457, private schools you pay (may even have to pay the international rate). Any training/further eduction courses you do on a 457 you pay the international rate!
