I have been in WA for 3 and 1/2 years have 2 teenagers a 6yr old and a 2yr old, all boys.

 

Having worked in the UK, when I got to Oz not knowing anyone and having lots of time on my hands I joined a playgroup, which I now help run and in the process have made some really great friends.

 

If you want to have a coffee and a chat while your children have a play please just rock up, your 1st session is free and $5 per child there after, bring a piece of fruit or a healthy snax to be shared for morning tea. We are a member of Playgroup WA (inc) and a none profit organisation.

We have members from Lakelands to Rockingham so wherever you are staying your more then welcome.

Hi M&M - thanks for the post about the play group - I have been in Oz for 3 years now but only in Perth for 3 weeks (Baldivis) so I am keen to join some groups to meet some friends : ) I have a 4 month old son so although he wont be playing it will be a good opportunity for me to socialise - I like to get out and about as much as I can during the days! I am looking forward to coming on the 18th.

Hi, I realise this thread is a couple of months old but just wondering if this playgroup is still operating? I'm desperate to get my three old little girl some social interaction and hopefully meet some new friends.
