Can anyone give me any feedback (good or not so good) on the Byford area with regards to schooling and community feel. Thanks in advance. RobynMargarat Posted October 14, 2011 Report Share Posted October 14, 2011 Funnily enough I am heading out to Byford on Monday afternoon to interview a woman who lives , so I will try to ask her all those relevant questions, if you add more I will find out what I can for you! Byford is a small town that has been nestled in the hills, but as I understand it, its taken on a new lease of life lately as more people have discovered it. Its a friendly town, I used to go there regularly to interview people about their standard of living and stuff like that. Someone told me that a Lifestyle village, is being built there. (over 55`s small homes, just suited to empty nester`s) But its a family oriented town, with a busy little shopping centre, from what I have noticed driving through there.. anyway give me some more questions before Sunday night, and I will try to find out what you wish to know! Could you kindly ask about the school there in terms of their reputation, local activities/resources for the children, is it a safe and friendly place to stay and community feel. Guest LaneyOOO Posted October 14, 2011 Report Share Posted October 14, 2011 Hiya Lexylou, I live about 10-15minutes from Byford a big change to wanting to be in Woodvale, it is nice lots of new housing and a few of my friends live there. The schools are good Marri park primary and then Byford Primary which is a smaller school. You are about 10 minutes to Armadale Shopping Centre where you will have everything you need.Byford is small community but it has big plans and alot going to happen new Catholic Schools, major shopping Centre, lots of places for horse riding and bush walking not to far away, Rockingham Beach is only about 25 mins from Byford and pretty much a straight run to it.Let me know if I can help you with any info, good luck Laney xx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
