What do you class as reasonable? It honestly is so difficult to recommend somewhere as there are hundreds of suburbs that are great for families. Do you want a suburb that has lots of Brits? Some are known as Little Britain and that's attractive to some people and not to others. Where are your jobs? What sort of commute do you want. How far outside the CBD do you want to be?

Hi Ang

I've been in Perth just 2 weeks now, living in Kalamunda & moving to Forrestfield very soon, the people here are just so friendly, helpful, lots of young families, not too many brits but most people have links with UK, relations etc, the schools & pre-schools are fab, shopping is a dream, easy access to highways & not too far from the city, airport and beaches, driving is pleasant and it's so clean everywhere with plenty of parks and kids play equipment. x

Hi Ang

I could quite easily settle in Forrestfield' it's like a mini town with plenty to offer, we're renting a villa that has low maintenence ground work which is good for now as we're working, 3 good sized bedrooms, bathroom & toilet, carport, kitchen, dining room, lounge & another lounge/ games room, it works out £300 per week, pretty good for 3 working adults & a teen, the cost of living I believe is cheaper out here for me than in UK.
