Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum, however I've kept an eye on it for some time.

I am looking for some help from people on this forum. I am Canadian guy who is moving to Perth permanently on November 22nd, looking for short term accommodation-apartment or room in shared property. Need it for 2-3 weeks until I will sort out my long term rentals. If anybody has such property, would be glad to hear from you. thanx

I will be looking for a car as soon as I will sort out driver licensing by hopefully converting my Canadian license. In meantime will be using public transportation. However, getting a car is on my priority list

Cars are well expensive here even for an old car, car hire is reasonable, that's what we did till we got a car off Ebay, Bayswater car rental, Midland is reasonably priced housing, direct train to CBD, not too close to the coast and is a lovely area, also Welshpool, Kewdale & Victoria Park, hope some of this helps, i've only been here 2 weeks so still learning. x

Hi

Welcome to the forum.

We have a property in Warnbro available till 12 Dec if that's any use, it's not far from the station, so train into Perth would be around 35 mins, please let me know if this is of interest, and perhaps you can let us know your budget and you may be able to get more help.

Good Luck

Tracey

Hi Tracey,

thank you for letting me know about your property. As I mentioned in my initial post, I am looking for shared place or apartment with price in a range of $200-300 per week. I hope it is reasonable for single person. If not, please let me know. Any help or advise will be appreciated.

Hi Silencer

Our properties start from $450 per week, if you are looking less than this, I would suggest you take a look at gumtree to see if you can find some shared accommodation.

Good luck with your search

Tracey

Thank you for info, Tracy. I will try to look for other alternatives

Hi Dean and Margaret Ann

I'm working on this now for you, I may be able to source somewhere for the full 8 weeks NOR, but if not, we have a lovely property coming available on 16 December, Drew Cottage in Ardross, and I will look at finding something NOR for you until that one is available.

Bear with me and I'll send you full details via a PM.
