Guest bootco
Hi, I'm a flusher, (taper and jointer), newly arrived from the U.K with extensive experience in the commercial sector but none in cornicing/coving. As most of the work here seems to be residential and the ability to cornice a prerequisite I'm struggling to find work. I've tried to find a course, (live in North Perth), and phoned several ceiling fixing companies asking if I could learn on the job but so far without success. I am therefore looking for someone on Poms in Perth, (possibly a sympathetic ex-pat), to show me the ropes. In return they would get a hard working, honest and 100% reliable worker with tools, PPE, white card etc. Many thanks Richard.
Greg
Its not that difficult once you get the knack. There was a very good feature on last weeks better homes and gardens, I think you can watch it online at channel 7.
