Me and my girlfriend have just emigrated to Perth and are looking for some like minded people to meet up with and socialise. We are both 29, extremely socially active in the UK but struggling a bit since we've been here.

 

We both love travelling the world and experiencing different cultures, european music festivals and nightclubs and have spent a lot of time at glastonbury over the last few years. We quite like the chilled out hippie vibe although were not hippies!

 

We are originally from the manchester area, extremely laidback with great sense of humours and are both big football fans.

 

Tend to spend our weekends around leederville, fremantle and the more relaxed places, not really into cheesy bars!

 

If anyones keen on beers or wants to get together, get in touch. We are in the subiaco area.

We will be moving to Perth and planning to get a place in an area from Subiaco to Peppermint Grove. I am 38 and my wife is 30 we have a son who is 3. Any recommendations about where to focus? Allright we are married but lead a quite hippy life back in the day Loads of stories to share I suppose. We need to create a new circle of friends from all walks of life. So if you are interested maybe we could meetup for a coffee or something when we arrive within a couple of weeks.

Me & my hubby are 32 and 37. He works full time in the CBD & I'm currently a stay at home mum - not sure how long I'll last though!! We're currently living in Subi, although my daughter has chosen a school in Claremont. Finding the move quite difficult, mostly because we can't find anywhere to live and everything is extortionately priced.

 

I have 3 kids, 8,3 & 1 yrs. I know kids are not everyone's cup of tea, so no worries if you don't want to meet up

We moved over a few months ago from Uk. We are currently living in Clarkson by the train station but spend our days battling it out at the rental home opens trying to find a place near Leederville as I work in Subiaco. We have no kids and aged 30 & 31 and love socialising, camping and watching sports, we can't wait for AFL to start!!*

 

I have my parents visiting until next Friday, so if anyone wants to meet up next weekend, day or evening that would be great.

We are also living in Subiaco at the moment, husband (27) and I (28) moved over to Perth in July last year, we're originally from Yorkshire & Lincolnshire but spent the last 6 years living in London. We try to head into Kings Park for BBQ's and also the Moonlight cinema if anyone fancies coming along. We are also planning a big Australia Day in Kings Park over looking the river - going to do it in true aussie style, there at the crack of dawn to get a good spot and bringing loads of food, drink, rugs, blankets, ekies, chairs, kitchen sink! So if you fancy joining us (will be around 7 of us heading down) just let me know!
