We are from Hong Kong. My family of 3 (with a 2.5 yr old son) will move to Bunbury, Western Australia by the end of this year. We have a property in Hong Kong. We are wondering if we need to pay tax in Australia for my rental income in Hong Kong.

Actually there are two questions. 1) Do I need to pay tax for my rental income in Hong Kong? 2) Do I need to pay tax for the profit I earn if I sell the house in Hong Kong?
