We are moving to Perth in December so I know that it will be Summer out there so at least I know what to pack in my suitcase for the immediate few months.

My question is especially to those already living in Perth is what would you advice myself and my hubby to shio in terms of clothing, footwear

Will I actually need scarves for e.g. LOL

Mate - go to your local JD sports wear store - give it a big hug and buy buy buy! sportswear in Australia is very expensive ! utilise those t-shirt offers in JD - 2 for 20quid or something - as they are around 45 quid each here !

Trainers - Nike and Adidas are like stupidly priced here - something you can get in the UK for say 70 pounds are around au 230$.

Good luck !

I'm still wearing scarves in the winter and big wooly jumpers. It does get very cold once you acclimatize. And as Vijnit says it's much cheaper to bring it with you.

Agree, bring summer stuff for immediate wear and things suitable for work (depending on what you'll be doing), ship your jumpers, boots and jackets, you won't need them in summer but will in winter. Also don't forget your brolly - we do get rain here from time to time lol
