leedslass123
We built our home through them took around 7 months from slab going down. We had no problems at all with them and they have been very helpful. I worked for a home builder for alot of years in the UK and Affordables customer service put the UK place to shame. I would say shop around and take your time we did rush in a little and also make sure you know what you are getting etc. In our cul-de-sac 3 out of 10 house are built by them and there are more in the estate If you want any more info just let me know, hope this helps
Guest pabloadriang
Thank you for your reply....i have other questions if you don`t mind. We are moving next year in PR visa until now we have no job yet (wife, 4 years boy and me). Do you think we can get a loan from them, (they have their own financing right?) or a bank? How much cost the cheapest house and how much i`ll be paying a week? The house needs to be built first or is already done ready to move? And how is the quality of the house solid? Thank you for your time and help us. Pablo.

leedslass123
Hi Pablo They do have their own finance like a broker it used to be Maxon Finance but think it may have changed. Basically you can get your own broker there is nothing to say that you have to use theirs, the broker gets paid the comission the lender so you dont pay for the service etc, they search all available options banks etc. We are both PR's but one of the stipulations was that we had to be in perm employment for 6 months for our lender it may be different with others. You give them your budget and they tell you what is avialable. We purchased the land then approached taffordable. Our total for land and house buils was $365k we pay around $2300 a month on the mortgage alone. It all depends where you build, how much your land is and what size style of house you want lots of variables.

Guest Shelly23
Hi Leedslass, Thought I'd be cheeky and ask you a question if you don't mind. Were have you built your property and what is the size of block you have. I know it's obviously depends on were you live for the price of the land. Any info would be great. thanks Shelly
