Guest bakercrew
Well John Masons have been and gone, turned up 1 hour early what a shock my face was a picture when I saw them pull up. Lucky I got up early mind you was still not ready for them. JM were excellent packed very quickly they ended up chasing us as we were getting things ready for them, My son who is 3 made great friends with them once they got talking about toy story had to drag them away, lol Oh well now living in an empty house tonight, finishing off all alcholol what a shame! lol. Touch down in Perth on tue so excited, mind you did have nervous and started to shake when I paid the money in the bank for the last family car, it felt great sending off the container but strange waving goodbye to our house as all furn went off on the container. My little one (3) did not like the house when he saw it all wrapped up he thru a wobbly. lol I have told him we are going on holiday whilst furn is being sent over. Then after 3 weeks we will ask him if he likes living near a perm beach and hoping he says yes so we can say we will look to live here. Hope it works, lol. Anyway I am now totally p.... and better go see you over in perth. xxx

ali
We had John Masons and they were super ... brings back memories, my daughter and I sat on the stairs in our empty house and shed a tear ... it had been a wonderful home and we had so many memories there, but it was strang because it felt so different and not ours anymore - my daughter hugged me (10 at the time) and said ... "it'll be ok 'cos we're all going to be together" and I thought that's it, it's actually us who have made this a home. The last few days can feel awfully tense - I had a friend who just wouldn't say goodbye and then turned up in floods of tears on our last night. This really is a new adventure for you - you'll be scared and excited at the same time - Have a safe journey and we'll see you in PERTH!! Children can be extraordinarily sagacious and thoughtful.
ali
What a beautiful thing to say. Children can be extraordinarily sagacious and thoughtful. I think they keep it real when they're younger - say it as they see it and once in awhile you get a little gem. We still talk about (and crack up) at things the children said when younger
