jackboots
You know off topic here , i was chatting to a client the other day and her husband is from America and we were dicussing hair straighteners . "Well " i was saying can you not get him to bring you some back when he goes over ? as he is soon .. she said " you can't the the voltage is totally different " , i said well you change the plug .. she said " no the amount is higher than here" . Apparently they had pals come over for a holiday and she used some hair straighteners with a tempory plug and it nearly fried her ... so my point is , i wonder if thats all of it as well ie Tv's , toasters , the lot really ? JaynBev
We have been advised that for UK TV's the standard aerial will not work but you can still use HDMI or Scart cables with freeview boxes/ foxtel / Wii etc so thats our plan. Just one less thing we need to buy straight away.
