Hi there

Depends on what age your kids are i suppose... Most Poms head North or river for housing etc although we live in Bayswater, about 10 mins from city...

How long have you been in Adelaide?? My folks have just moved here from Adelaide, they were there nearly 4 years but Perth is loads better!!!

Good luck

Hi,thanks for your reply,we have only been in adelaide for 9 months but are just not sure if its for us,we both work, just dont seem to be able to find a house with out having to go 40k over the asking price!

would you say it is particuarly expensive in perth, are the house prices slowing down?

we are looking in the 450 plus for a 4 bed, with room for a pool,a must!

is there a lot to do for kids 6/11,

thanks

I think it's pretty even for people heading north or south of the river - property south still tends to be a little cheaper. Visit Caversham wildlife park in Whiteman park, or if you've done roos to death, the park itself is brilliant and lots to do there. Mandurah is a lovely place to visit and you can see dolphins. Rockingham wildlife encounters do different packages too. Adventure world (don't know how old the kids are) water and theme park. House prices are slowing down,

We've just come back from 2 weeks in Perth and did Caversham wildlife park which was great. If you get time go down to Fremantle, its a fantastic place especially the prison tour, its how prison should be!!!

enjoy the trip if not the flight!
