Driver Hire Australia are proud to be recruiting for an exceptional Supply Base Supervisor who is looking for a new role with an exceptional employer with a rewarding package to suit the right person.

This is a Resident post based in Broome, depending on local constraints foresee the option for a rotational post.

You will have the below experience and qualifications.

 

 

 

DECISION TAKING

- Operational procedures validation.

- Choice for infrastructures set-up.

- Refereeing of transportation means.

- Refereeing of clients (drilling, Exploitation, Production).

- Participation in the choice of contractors and providers.

- Selection of appropriate carrier.

- Budget proposition and orientation.

- Operational decision.

- Validate the correspondence of the purchased or rented materials (QAQC).

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Technical

- Land transport experience

- Maritime transport experience

- Knowledge of Supply Chain

- Material / life bases management techniques

- Drilling and production site organisation

- Knowledge of integrated and technical software’s

- Knowledge of techniques for handling/ lifting and storage

- Knowledge of logistics HSE management rules

- Knowledge of DGEP rules

- Knowledge of international/local regulations

- Telecommunication techniques (voice, data)

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.

5 years experience in logistics operations and a suitable general knowledge in oil industry marine logistics.

Profile : Teambuilding awareness, leadership, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, good command of

English and computer literate

Job might be required to be working offshore occasionally for which a full BOSIET training is required.

Hi there,

 

I presume you are in WA at the moment? it depends on what licence yo have. Some companies pay per delivery whilst others on an hourly rate. Most couriers are self employed with their own vehicle.

 

If you are no in WA then you would need to first see what visa you can come in on as drivers are not on the skills shortage list.
