I am currently living in Perth (backpacking) and have recently been offered a job. What I would like to know is if it is a reasonable package. Its $75K basic + a company car + laptop + phone and a bonus scheme with the average staff bonus of $15K a year, oh and they will also sponsor me. I am 29 years old and single. piccolo Posted March 1, 2012 Report Share Posted March 1, 2012 I would think it would considering you don't have to fork out for your car, petrol (I'm assuming) or phone bills. Plus you only have you to feed so i'd think you'd be very comfortable on that wage. There are families surviving on the same without the bonus scheme et al. There's a Work Abroad expo here in Dublin this weekend so we're going along as there'll be WA employers there so we'll see if anything comes of it.
