Guest Janer82
Hi Beka and Anto. Have you found anymore info out? I'm in a similar position (hairdresser), trying to find out info, but seem to be getting told different things ...its driving me mad, and now we have the changes on the 1st of July to contend with.. I'm feeling like my dream of a new life in Aus is becoming impossible. ... I'm planning on going to go out to WA to stay with friends, when I'm there I'm going to have a scout around, see what the job market is like and find out what the chances are of an employer sponsoring. Guest hoons
I'm currently going through the sponsorship process, having been offered a job a couple of weeks ago. The company who have hired me are currently obtaining a 457 visa for me. I work in the contaminated land sector, and applied directly to a firm in Perth. Can't speak for your professions, but I used the Seek website quite a bit when looking for jobs too, it may be worth a look! Alternatively, I'm sure there are other websites which you could look on (Hays for example?) From starting to apply for jobs, to actually being offered one, took me approx 7 months ... the key is to be patient. Very patient! Good luck finding jobs, I hope you manage to get something sorted out soon! :smile2:
